Firstly, there are so many anime that are very funny and suit many people's entertainment needs. I think that anime is just as good as American shows. As well as being funny, anime is also educational. People are able to learn a new language with subtitles and translations.
Clearly anime is for all ages. It can be watched by anyone. There are also so many categories like science fiction, comedy, romance, action and many others. For example, Naruto is an action comedy anime. Most anime have many series and episodes that pleases their fans.
If you don't like using technology, then there is another option for you. Manga, is a graphic book corresponding to the anime. Most anime have books that you can read - these fulfill your otaku needs.
